I&#8217;ve seen every episode multiple times. Sadly in 1989 the BBC stopped producing the show. So from that point on WXXI ran the series rerun.<\/p>\n<p>In 2005 the BBC launched a new series of Doctor Who, modernized with new digital effects and all new characters. Currently in Rochester we have seen series one with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/name\/nm0001172\/\" target=\"_blank\">Christopher Eccleston<\/a> (2005), series two and three with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/name\/nm0855039\/\" target=\"_blank\">David Tennant <\/a>(2006-2007). Can&#8217;t wait for the next series to arrive.<\/p>\n<p>Since the Doctor changes bodies every so often (he&#8217;s a Time Lord!), there have been numerous actors playing this role over the years. Anyone who is a Doctor Who aficionado will know which Doctor they like best. So far I have liked Christoper Eccleston the best, but he only played one series, a spare 13 episodes.
