Doctor Who
I’ve been watching Doctor Who since 1977 (it began airing on WXXI in 1976). I’ve seen every episode multiple times. Sadly in 1989 the BBC stopped producing the show. So from that point on WXXI ran the series rerun.
In 2005 the BBC launched a new series of Doctor Who, modernized with new digital effects and all new characters. Currently in Rochester we have seen series one with Christopher Eccleston (2005), series two and three with David Tennant (2006-2007). Can’t wait for the next series to arrive.
Since the Doctor changes bodies every so often (he’s a Time Lord!), there have been numerous actors playing this role over the years. Anyone who is a Doctor Who aficionado will know which Doctor they like best. So far I have liked Christoper Eccleston the best, but he only played one series, a spare 13 episodes.
