When I was a young teen my parents traveled to visit long time friends in Centerville MA. They brought home a Standard Schnauzer puppy named Heather Hyannis. The Kallochs had been breeding Standards for many years and Hud was a well known judge at dog shows.
Heather lived pretty much free of leashes but she stayed close to home. We were inseparable. I remember coming home from school and could not wait to take her out for a walk. I have loved dogs ever since.

Every once in a while when I am looking for something else on my computer, I find something that I had forgotten I had. This is a video of a very young Willie (we are still training his ears) and Cassie walking in the winter. They find something that smells wonderful and roll in it ecstatically.

It’s always fun to visit with our friend. She has a Giant and there always seems to be a Giant visiting. We brought Willie and Cassie so that made 4 Giants. Greta makes a good pocket Giant. Add in some unexpected food left over from dinner and you have a party!
